Pandora Paper Report Released, many ministers of offshore
companies come out

The International
Consortium of Investigative Ghetto Journalists (ICIJ) has released Pandora
Papers containing the names of 700 Pakistanis. Pakistanis owning offshore
companies include current and former ministers, former military generals,
businessmen and their relatives.

The Pandora Papers include
Federal Minister for Finance Shaukat Tareen, Federal Minister
for Industry Khusro Bakhtiar, Federal Minister for Water Resources and PML-Q
leader Monis Elahi, Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, former Federal
Minister and Senator Faisal Wawda. Also in the Pandora Papers are former Sindh
provincial minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, former finance minister Ishaq Dar's
son Ali Dar, former Pakistani ambassador to the United States Ali Jahangir
Siddiqui, executive and owner of Bollywood News Shoaib Sheikh.

Ahsan Latif, son-in-law of
former Punjab Governor General (retd) Khalid Maqbool, former military secretary
to Pervez Musharraf, Lieutenant General (retd) Shafaatullah Shah, Major General
(retd) Nusrat Naeem, former Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Finance
and Revenue Waqar Masood. Sahibzada's name is also included in the Pandora
Papers.

Besides, General (retd)
Afzal Muzaffar's son Hassan Muzaffar, Lt Gen (retd) Tanveer Tahir's wife Zahra
Tanveer, Lt Gen (retd) Ali Quli Khan's sister Shahnaz Sajjad, former Air
Marshal Abbas Khattak's sons Omar and Uhad Khattak The names of are also
included in the Pandora Papers.

The Pandora Papers also
include Bashir Dawood, a well-known businessman, Naveed Maghis Sheikh, owner of
Imperial Sugar Mills, Arif Usmani, President of National Bank of Pakistan, Arif
Shafi, Arif Naqvi, founder of Abraaj Group and Asif Hafeez.

Remember that ICIJ has prepared Pandora Papers after two years of hard work.
More than 600 journalists from 150 media outlets in 117 countries took part in
the scandal. It is the largest journalistic research in human history to date,
containing 11 million classified documents.

The same organization of
journalists released the Panama Papers in 2016, which included the names of 444
Pakistanis. Because of this, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif
had to resign from his post.
